Planning Commission mission
The Planning Commission mission is to assist the Florence Town Board with land use and zoning issues, with building and other permits, and with general planning for future needs and controls within the township.

The Planning Commission meets at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at the Town Hall.

The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of up to nine members serving three-year terms. The commission holds its annual meeting in January. More members are needed. Contact a current member if you have questions. To apply to be on the Planning Commission, send a letter expressing your interest and experience to the Florence Town Board, P.O. Box 97, Frontenac, MN 55026.
